This is a classic pure and simple. Tom Cruise is fantastic as Maverick in what has to be one of his best movie roles to date. A great cast, soundtrack, action sequences and names such as Maverick, Goose, Ice Man etc makes this one of the 80s greatest films. Enjoy

Could watch this several times in a weekend and have done. You cant help but smile when watching some of the ridiculously camp scenes like volleyball, but that adds to the brilliance dont take it to seriously and soon you will be donning aviators and telling lady-folk how theyve lost that loving feeling.
