Brilliant but gruesome

There is a reviewer about 2 below me who says this is great family fun and compares it to a bugs life. Now either he is very sarcastic, very stupid or he has mistaken this for a different film. I would compare this to deliverance for gruesomeness. It is about two detectives who are after a killer who is killing using the 7 deadly sins as reasons. This has some scenes that are hard to stomach so watch out

Se7en (1995) - *****
Brilliantly acted, and gripping from the start, Se7en remains one of the greatest modern mystery films. In a city drenched in rain (a la Bladerunner) Detectives Mills and Somerset must work together on a bizarre case in which someone is killing off people according to the seven deadly sins. Highly intelligent with a twist to match, Se7en is essential viewing, but not for the faint-hearted.
Great Family Film!

Film Noir never looked so black! This is like 'A bugs life' but with less scary moments.
