If one had to review only the HELL IN CELL MATCH between Undertaker and Mankind from King Of The Ring 1998, the rating would be 5 stars carved in gold. It is, by any standard, the best hardcore match ever.
Both Undertaker and Mankind/Mick Foley raised the stakes so incredibly high in this match, nobody could dream of ever getting near it.
Ric Flair once described Mick Foley as a "glorified stunt-man" and hair-raising stunts is exactly what Foley delivers in this one of a kind match-up. His fall(s) is(are) shocking to put it mildly! As for the thumbtacks used at the end of the match... well, let's not just get into this one, shall we?
Mick Foley had a great hardcore match against Edge at Wrestlemania XXII, but this KOR 1998 performance is the one for the ages!
A pity then that the rest of the brawls in both KOR 1997 and KOR 1998 are not what you might call breathtaking. The Undertaker/Mankind HELL IN A CELL can also be found on both MICK FOLEY'S GREATEST HITS AND MISSES and the UNDERTAKER TOMBSTONE COLLECTION. These are far better deals containing lots of other great wrestling moments. It's your choice.
