i am a big x men fan and the first time i watched this i gave it 3 stars, however as time goes on, it becomes quite an exciting movie to go back to. sure there is underveloped plots and characters which would have been tipped off with the original directors touch, but this film is overall i good example of comic book adaptions. i will refer to the phoenix plot here, a great example of how a complex and massive story in the comics is brought into the real world, jean grey does not have a god within her but is merely a skitsofrenick mutant with god like powers. it makes the film real and more emotional. the end battle is what the 3 films built up to, however i feel the fight was a bit rushed to get to throughout the film, the fight itself however its a delight to watch. beast is incredible in this film, if only he was introduced in the previous films, angel is also good, yet his screen time is dissapoitning, only 3 scenes yet he is on the front cover! ben foster does a great job with… more »
