  Dyer at his best

One of the best horror comedy films i've ever seen Danny Dyer's character is hilarious!! This is a fantastic British comedy horror and one liners right up to the end of the film, even discussing which one of the women they would or wouldn't have. Well worth the money go and buy it

  Bird Flu.....

I am a bit biased but i think that this film is one of the best comedy horrors out. Noel Clarke makes this film what it is... a great big laugh. Easily as good as Shaun of the dead. Easily worth buying.

  An unexpected laugh

I watched this film with a friend and was sat there waiting for just another film that had been made not to provide entertainment but to line the pockets of the film industry; oh how very wrong I was, this film is a good laugh and I have now watched it twice. Should certainly check it out if your a fan of Noel Clark or Dyer.
Good Laugh but not quite 5stars

It was great to see Noel Clarke in a comedy role and Danny Dyer's character is hilarious!! This is a fantastic British comedy horror with a script that delivers fabulous one liners right up to the end! Loved the fact the guys still would with some of the zombie women! Buy this movie! Bird Flu has never been so severe!

  LOVE IT

  Top notch entertainment!!!

Firstly, this is not a film to take seriously. If your after a gripping, suspensefull horror, look elsewhere.

Think Shawn of the dead mixed with Lesbian Vampire Killers, with a small dash of 28 days later. A "lads" horror comedy if you like. Very sexsist, very gory and full of Danny Dyers one liners. Providing your not easily offended and know what to expect, this is a film that can be enjoyed by both men and women alike.

Also, a special mention to Noel Clarke (of Adulthood fame) who is a great addition to the cast. A true star in his own right.

One small gripe (and it is only one), Danny Dyers "geezer" like persona can become a tad annoying as the film progresses. However, he never fails to deliver and provides the bulk of the humour.

Switch off your brain, sit back and enjoy the film for what it is. A laugh.

  Unleash The Zombirds!

| | See all Caramon's reviews (77)

Vince, a man depressed after a divorce, is convinced by a group of his friends to go for a weekend away. The seven lads are hoping to spend a few days in the village of Moodley, where the women outnumber the men by 4 to 1. What they get is total anarchy, when they discover a military biological experiment has turned all the women into flesh-eating, men-devouring zombies!

This gore-fest of a comedy is a different take on the zombie movie, where all the monsters are women and it is the men who do the running and screaming. Definitely sexist and certainly in bad taste, this film is also genuinely funny and a refreshingly gory comedy for anybody who enjoyed Shaun of the Dead. The effects are good and the acting is sound, but it is the script and funny dialogue where this film really shines. Very highly recommended.

i watched this film for the first time the other day, and i thought it was ok, not a great comedy horror, like the evil dead films, but had some funny moments in it,

danny dyer doing his im a geezer thing does get annoying after a while, but this film doesint take it self seriously, and is just bit of mindless fun

  God Awful Film!!! Dreadfully poor.

| | See all Rattlehead84's reviews (5)

Like a lot of other films that have disappointed down the years, the trailer for it definately sold me a bigger and better package than he pityful reality of this heap of dung!!

No real plot, no real 'action' as such and to be honest a true waste of 90 minutes of an evening in. It is ridiculously poor in every area, which is a shame as I thought british horror films were building a bit of momentum in the past few years.

Believe me, If I knew what this was going to be like before I watched it, I wouldn't even let this sit amongst my other DVD's, let alone buy it.

AVOID

  Mindless comedy.

| | See all Dan3087's reviews (199)

I actually found this film to be quite hilarious, whilst it's absolutely mindless comedy it's good to just be able to watch a film and not have to take things too seriously. As other reviews have said this film is more for the male population as I can't see many females enjoying this, if your looking for a film to just relax and watch which will make you laugh then this is the right film, if your looking for something with a bit more direction, then don't bother.
