Columbia recording artist and Pink Floyd founder Roger Waters toured the United States for the first time in 12 years with his highly acclaimed "In The Flesh" show that presented, for the first time, a comprehensive overview of Waters' music including early Pink Floyd material, classic compositions from his masterpieces "The Wall" and "Dark Side of the Moon," less well-known pieces from "Animals," "Wish You Were Here," and "The Final Cut;" songs from the solo tour de force "Amused To Death" and "The Pros and Cons of Hitch Hiking;" and the debut of a new song, "Each Small Candle."

Songs:
In the Flesh, The Happiest Days of Our Lives, Another Brick in the Wall Part 2, Mother, Get Your Filthy Hands Off My Desert, Southampton Dock, Pigs on the Wing Part 1, Dogs, Welcome to the Machine, Wish You Were Here, Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts 1-8), Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun, Breathe (In The Air), Time, Money, The Pros and Cons of Hitch Hiking Part 11 (5:06 am?  Genius at work

Spent about a fiver on lighting & effects, the musicians well they were simply priceless. Amazing backing singers, beautiful and famed voices. Musicians that love their work, and can deliver. Roger Waters is old school, talent, there is no substitute for it, just an amazing couple of hours. Not a large venue, i think this made it quite special, the audience loved it and i wished i was there. Brilliant!!!

 Breath Taking

I am a big Floyd fan and have recently started to buy the solo albums from the various band members, and after listening to the Waters album 'Amused To Death' purchased this DVD. And what a stunning delight, the picture and sound quality blew me away, to the extent I found myself jumping up to clap { and I was alone}. A wonderful mix of Solo and Floyd songs, and as mentioned top notch talent backing him. If you love Floyd or even casual listener, buy this, you will not be disappointed but 'Amused To Death.

 Back to his best

To me floyd suffered the most from Rogers departure and despite some average solo material he manages to bounce back in spectacular style with this stunning live dvd with a great mixture of floyd classics and some of his best solo material from the much improved amused to death album and the classic every stangers eyes from his pros+cons album. Backed by an large backing band some of which played on pink floyd tours in the past ,they treat us with plenty of songs from the wall ,dark side of the moon and wish you were here etc. Well worth having in your collection even if you were not a huge fan of his post PF material .

 Perfect

If you are a fan you will know what to expect and will not be disappointed.
If you are new to pink floyd, stick this dvd on and see some of the greatest songs ever written performed beautifully.
I challenge you to find any current music that matches up to this.
I have watched this many many times and never tire of it.
Buy it!!!

Lets face it Floyd without Waters was disappointing especially for those familiar with the bands history, we all attended the Division bell tour and stood amazed at the spectacle but for me the raw conviction and emotion of the bands songwriter was sorely missed.
With In the flesh this is more than made up for a great selection of tracks and live versions from Amused to death Pink Floyds greatest album in all but title.
