It was the best of seasons, it was the worst of seasons.

OK, so the second series of Desperate Housewives didn't live to up to the incredibly high expectations, but that's not to say it was a total disappointment. Sure, it's less entertaining than the first series, but only because the first series was so outstanding. This series is still very watchable, and whilst the mystery may not be as inventive, the rest of the series is.

There are some superb episodes in this series, such as when Bree finds out what George did and he then gets what's coming to him, and of course the hillarious funeral scene!

When compared with series one, yes this series isn't as good but if you watch it without comparing it to anything else, it becomes a very enjoyable series.

Desperatly needed in your dvd collection

desperate housewives season two is a massive improvment on the first season.
it featured some excellent plotlines throughout the 24 episodes including:
Gabrielles jealousy coming to a forefront (in an episode which has the greatest catfight on television to date).
Lynette gets curious that mike may be having an affair with an old flame, she also gets a new job and tries to get her boss to have some fun(hilarious).
Bree is just awesome this season by coming to terms with her husbands death and becoming involved in a dangerous relationship with the remarkably creepy george which can only end in murder(and it does).
the finale is very impressive when we find out more from the housewives past, edie gets stung by killer bees (no thanks to susan),and a powerfull confontational scene where bree risks her life to save her daughter (marcia cross deserves an award for her performance this season).
this season is remarkable and compared to the first it is incredibly juicy.

I think that season 2 was just as good as season 1.
I especially love when Bree becomes less "perfect" and starts drinking and then admits herself to that psycho ward.
This series shows a lot of change in things, with Lynette going back to work and Carlost in jail etc.

Not as good as season 1

But still fantastic, after the first major story is finished the new one that runs through the season is good but not quiet on the money, good extras and eye candy make this another guilty pleasure

 spanish subtitles?
