Luke Skywalker, a young farm boy from Tatooine, is thrust into the struggle of the rebel alliance when he meets Obi-Wan Kenobi, who has lived for years in seclusion on the desert planet. Good first star wars film but could do with a bit more of Luke with his lightsaber!

Must be the best Si-Fi movie ever made and still stands the test of time today. I remember watching this film when it first came to the cinema and even at a young age I was blown away by the whole experience. I knew even then that this would become a classic and I could not wait for the sequels. Since then that experience has stayed with me and made me a lover of all that is Si-Fi.
I have to agree with the other reviews here and say that this is a brilliant film and for this price it is lunacy not to buy! A must have in any dvd collection it ranks in the top ten of greatest films ever.
Have to agree with DaveFaz, also in my old timer opinion, it is the greatest movie of all time. Get it, own it, watch it!!
