best show on tv. great characters. go out and buy it (or stay in and buy it if you are buying it online. you choose). :-)

NCIS is quite frankly the best crime show ever aired. You don't get the light humoured seriousness between the team, the well thought through relationships the complex plots in any other shows. If you'd still pass up NCIS over CSI then you should seriously consider help.

N.C.I.S. can only be described as amazing. While season 3 is my personal favourite the first two seasons are an easy watch. It is very hard to turn it off once the episodes start to play. Refreshing, funny and with great storylines people may wonder what this show has that the other crime shows don't have.... Well my personal feelings are that this show focuses much more on character development than the other shows I have seen. The charisma between the main characters is incredible, it is easy to believe that they all go out together after filming. While there is no "main" character in the show a lot of the focus is on Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, played by Mark Harmon, and his past becomes very important to the show over all. The characters have the feeling of being one big family. You have Gibbs, the father figure, Ducky, the Uncle that tells long winded stories, Abbey the crazy cousin, Tony and Kate who have a sibling rivalry for Gibbs attention etc etc. The story lines may seem outrageous at times but they are always done in an interesting manner that is great to watch. Don Bellisario has made a great modern follow up to JAG that should keep growing in popularity and keep the audiences hooked. I have been waiting 6 months so far for season 5 to be released on dvd and the suspense is killing me which I'm sure you will all feel if you give this a chance...

NCIS is just getting better and better, although the end of the season was a little worrying. I won't spoil it for you but seriously, if you haven't watched it hop to it, now!! Great stuff, hope it continues next season.

I first watched NCIS on tv and was totally addicted, the story lines ensnare you in the way that everything unfolds. Not only does it concentrate on solving the crime that goes on, but there is also a lot of humour which makes the show so great. NCIS works well because the actors/actresses are the best for the characters that they are. For those of you who have not seen NCIS i suggest you go watch an episode because as far as i am concerned, NCIS Rocks.

This series is great fun, you get heavily involved with the characters and drawn in. Jethro Gibbs is one of the great TV characters and all of the others compilment each other and gel really well. I would recommend this series to anyone.
