As a person with a mental illness I found this film very interesting, inspirational and a good story too. The commentary by the director John Madden is also worth listening to from my perspective, in just how the film got made the way it did and why Gwenyth Paltrom is a very very good actor and how the film maker viewed the issues being raised and the way the story is told. There is a lot of truth in the story and possibility for us all especially those who are dismissed easily as of no worth to society or just as odd. Credibility is a all too elusive currency in a world that seems to value purity but not to recognise or grasp the complications of our rough edged reality we all live in.
