It's not about revenge. It's about punishment.

When a group of young offenders are sent away to a military boot camp on a remote and supposedly uninhabited island they are taught a lesson they will never forget. On the island a psycopath lies in wait: trained and equipped as an experienced hunter, the killer is set to annihilate his victims with a series of gruesomely inventive booby traps...

Fantastic brit horror flick with a wild and messed up story, the cast is great especially Sean Pertwee (from Dog Soldiers) as always! The gore in this movie is brilliant and savage! Perfect horror fun to the end!

 Borstal Gone Wild

| | See all bigdog99's reviews (55)

This film leans heavily on influences from Dog Soldiers and Scum with very good affect without trying to imitate. And to be honest those two films cant really be bettered.
But this is an excellent film in its own rights and is based around a borstal whose worst occupants are sent out to a remote island as punishment for their part in a fellow inmates bullying and suicide along with lone warder (Pertwee).
Once there they find that the island isn't as deserted as they had been told and from there on in are pitted against a highly skilled and pro assasin.
Plenty of nasty moments and good level of tension...this is another example of the quality of British actors and directors that are often overlooked.
Would of got 5 stars if Scum and Dog Doldiers hadn't already been made but check this out as its a worthy contender for silver medal position.
