Top 100 DVD Reviewer

this is an excellent follow on from the first series, usually a series has to re-invent its self for a second season but this carries on with the same theories.the action gets bigger, body count gets higher and the women get fitter!!! tv for true sci-fi nutters and season cliff hangers that leave you with clenched fists, wanting to see the next episode.enjoy and unwind!!!

Still Fantastic TV - Some Great Stand alone episodes

So it begins dealing with the aftermath of the greatest series cliffhanger of all time.

This series is great value at £25 and there is much to take from it.

The show deals with everthing, terrorism, religion, politcs, sci-fi action, and there are some fantastic episodes here.

The major plot is excellent and The Baltar/Six relationship is fantastic. Action sequences are great and the Grizzled look of Adama fantastic.

Personally, I didn't like some of the direction the show moves into toward the end of the season, but Starbuck's mission for the arrow of apollo and the search for clues to Earth's location are fantastic.

The show remains great to watch, is well edited and fantastically well acted. You'll just feel as I did, come the end of the season, why did they do that?

Be prepared for suprises, such as the Pegasus Battlestar showing up (not a spolier as its mentioned in the episode guide just above)

It becomes apparent in Series 3 as to why season 2 ends the way it does, but the mini story ark at the beginning of series 3 again is some tough viewing, but I like the space Opera.

A must for Sci-Fi fans - If you don't like Sci-Fi you'll still love the plight and drama of this excellent show

 Totally Gobsmacked

Being a flag flying and truly loyal UK TV Drama fan for thirty years, I never thought I would come to love an American series as much as this one. Every perfectly cast episode is excellent. Superbly written, acted and directed. I feel for the struggling humans so much and hope against hope that they will get a happy ending when the show ends soon. Well done and thank you to all behind Battlestar Galactica - it's almost as great a show as Doctor Who!!

 Has you begging for more

Ok so now we are over the hangups that this isn't like the original we can see that this series has really kicked off. Fast and action packed all the way through with fantastic writing and characterisations. Each episode will have you thinking, "ok have I got time to watch the next one". If you enjoed te first season you will be blown away by the second.

 Pleasantly surprised

Absolutely great series and great acting. For anyone intending to buy all the series make sure you buy the mini series first as it fills in the gaps.
