An epic set recorded during Joe Satriani's G3 Japan Tour alongside fellow guitar genius', Steve Vai and John Petrucci. These electrifying live performances were recorded on May 8th at the Tokyo Forum, when critically acclaimed guitarist Satriani, brought his popular G3 tour to Japan for a series of sold-out dates. Having achieved tremendous success and critical praise in their own careers, this tour marked the second time the three influential guitarists have joined forces on the same stage (the first tour with these three happened back in 2001). Continuing with the same successful formula as in years past, fans were treated to individual sets by each guitarist with their own bands before joining Satriani and his band on stage for an all-star jam session.
