I am not a film expert. All I am is a horror movie fan, and I liked the film. Maybe it is not the best horror film ever, but it kept me interested to the very end and even though I was never scared, the plot fascinated me and that's good enough for me. Maybe it's because the subject of demonic posessions is of special interest to me that I liked this film, but the bottom line is, I did, and I bet I am not the only one.

When i started watching this film i thought it would be really scary. it started off good, and you really get into it BUT at the end it really lets you down with it's awful twist. Thankfully i only borrowed it from a friend, so i didn't waste my money!!

I have to agree with the other people's reviews that slate this film because it is pretty poor. I'm not a huge horror but can appreciate a movie when it's well made. I was excited by the fact this was based on a true story about a real life exorcism, but it's just so weak and poorly done.

The twist that happens in the end is so predictable. It would've been a better film without the twist. A film that tries to be clever when the Director and script writer have done such a poor job is only entertaining when its a B movie. Not a great deal happens and the story is flat and slow like your watching the Queens christmas speach with some dark lighting s it can be classe as a horror.

Do not watch it, the supposed twist at the end is it's 1 shot at redemption, it's last chance at saving the movie but it's just so pitiful and not even very well acted. Poor Donald Sutherland, who can actually act, must've hated the end product. Definately one to give a miss

Not a bad movie. Plenty of guessing going on and lots of thrilling moments that make you think, however you find yourself sitting there going, "Huh?" every once in a while

This was mildly confusing but you understand it in the end, lots of spine-chilling music and some jumps which failed to impress, I think I was more worked up about the film to begin with and then got a bit bored with it all, also sometimes through the film the music overpowers the speaking and that is very annoying. Sissy Spacek was brilliant as per usual and Donald Sutherland. Watch it and see for yourself.
