Worst ever!! just a sad pathetic film, not my liking at all! if you would like just to watch a person distressed and nothing else happening buy this, i advise you not to!

What a film!
Absolutly amazing. It's so artistic and the plot is incredible! I loved every minute of it. There's tention, emotion and so much more. A must have!

Well. as a whole i enjoyed this film, very well done with all the actors, but i was a little let down, it should of been longer, it could of been a really hard hitting film, instead you never really saw anything, and it kinda makes you wish, it was longer, just so something gory may happen, well i enjoyed it and at this price...ITS A MUST BUY.

Ive recently fell for ellen page in a big way, her performance in juno was astounding and although her efforts in this film were equaly brilliant the film as a whole was just not at all enjoyable. Ok, it is a horror, of kinds, and you expect a little discomfort, but this was just too much! Just too in your face, fourteen year old girls shouldn't be doing that sort of thing i really need to go see another ellen page movie quick so i can get her character out of my head!!!!!!

Not at all what i expected the film to be like,was torture watching it even though you don't see her..doing an operation on him when he's tied down.& overall a didn't expect the ending to happen like it did.would recommend it to any1 who ain't seen it, will see what a mean,£5 or even less £3 odd ain't bad at all.5****star

A great film. At times it will make you cringe even tho you never really see anything, unlike what i call sick viewing like "hostel"!
Acting is very good and you will go through quite a few different emotions watching this film.
Very thought provoking and not a film you will forget easily!

'Hard Candy' is one of those films that refuses to stick to narrative ang generic conventions, so if your looking for an easy ride, think again. 'HC' is a bitter and twisted movie about a photographer and a sexual predator (Patrick Wilson) and 14 year old girl who 'falls' into his trap (Ellen Page).
There are two reasons why I enjoyed this film so much:
1. Because the narrative tables turns so quickly and brilliantly.
2. Ellen Page, she is definatly my favourite actress at the moment.
Her performance is painfully realistic, almost like she's used to doing this (you will understand what I mean when you watch it).
Page is definatly here to stay.
'HC' is a gripping low-budget psychological thriller that will make you cringe, clench your fists and make you want to watch it again and again.

If your one of those people who likes to have their movies explained to them in a clear and concise manner then this isn't for you.
However, if you are a true fan of the more psychological aspects of cinema then this is most defiantly a must see. * * * * *

A few parts of the film are a bit hard to watch as they are very cringe-worthy but overall i found the film quite boring. The previews for it when it was at the cinema looked really good but it doesnt meet the expectation unforunately. Some of it is also a bit hard to follow and i got a bit confused.

this film is great! i really loved it. a defo must see.
