Silent Hill

This is a modern cult classic gem of a horror a must for any fan, the story is very original and you dont need to know anything about the video game to get into this, its a very smart story in which it creates a very distinctive visual look, the effects are very creepy and will defiantly get under your skin, if you love a good horror then dont miss this.

I'm convinced only fans of the computer game must like this film ?
The acting is terrible and the plot well,little girl goes missing but why ? Senseless = i just didn't get it ?
Rubbish in my humble opinion...

I followed this film to the end with an aura of "ahhhh thats clever" or "hmmmmm" and then the end came an my aura changed to "why ruin a perfectly good film". The story line is horrid the effects are great at times and some of the ideologies of the characters are down right chilling, it reminded me of the film Knowing............... if i had turned it off before the end how marvelous it would have been but i didn't and two stars were left in the bin.

Quite easily one of the worst films I have ever watched. You spend two hours being left in utter confusion which is in no way concluded at the end. Do not waste your money or two hours of your life on this tragedy of a film.

In all honesty when I first saw the movie I thought it was ok - though I put that down to me not paying much attention. Watching it 2nd time round & I absolutely loved it despite never really playing the game until after the film (from what I gather is in parts similar).
Eerie people, a spooky & edgy town complete with fantastic alternating dream / realities. This film keeps on getting better & better

I always thought that making games into films never quite captured the essence and feel of what the gamer was experiencing after the Resident Evil films i was left disappointed. I was very wrong hear Silent Hill is very much like the game in alot of ways they have kept the storyline Interesting yet keeping the Horror genre of Silent Hill the game. The special effects are amazing considering the low budget and the film has some terrifying scenes especially at the end and with Pyramid Head. Don't expect an action flick like other films this is completely Horror/Thriller material just how it should be. For 2.99 this is a bargain

Cool plot for the film, great special effects! chilling when you hear the air raid siren, even if i hear them from the military base for a test run i just think silent hill!!!!

after playing the video games i had high hopes for the movie it was pretty good in some parts and in other parts it was terrible i was hopinh it was going to be a movie based on the first video game but it wasnt i did like some of the death scenes in this film however it lacked good acting in a few areas of the film over all id give this film a 6.5/10

i watch this film about 3 times really scary really creepy

this is one of my fav films i can watch it again&again.great effects&the siren scares me lol.did someone say the was a follow up?when? if you like horrors then its defo worth a buy.
