Speed needs no translation.

From the makers of The Fast and the Furious and 2 Fast 2 Furious comes the highest-octane instalment of the hit movie franchise built for speed!

Shaun Boswell has always been an outsider. A loner at school, his only connection to the indifferent world around him is through illegal street racing - which has made him particularly unpopular with the local authorities. To avoid jail time, Shaun is sent out of the country to live with his uncle in the military, in a cramped apartment in a low-rent section of Tokyo. In the land that gave birth to the majority of modified racers on the road, the simple street race has been replaced by the ultimate pedal-to-the-metal, gravity-defying automotive challenge ... drift racing, a deadly combination of brutal speed on heart stopping courses of hairpin turns and switchbacks. For his first unsuccessful foray in drift racing, Shaun unknowingly takes on D.K., the "Drift King," with ties to the Yakuza, the Japanese crime machine. The only way he can pay off the debt of his loss is to venture into the deadly realm of the Tokyo underworld, where the stakes are life and death.

Excellent film, runied by 1 thing

It's such a good movie and I love the series even more because it got me into drifting (what a wicked sport and way to drive). The cars, cast and plot are all good and what you'd expect from a F&F film (In a good way), but for me the only bad thing was It hasn't got any of the cast we came to love in the last films, except for Dom's little cameo in his American Muscle, even if Tyrese Gibson was init, it would have be a lot better, but still a wicked film and a must have for any true F&F fan (like myself :D)

 vast improvement,

big improvement on the previous but not better than the first. if your not into car this movie is not foryou but if ou are a must buy. this is a sequal to the the new fast and the furios which come out in 2009 with everybody from the first film returning.

When i first heard this film wasn't going to have any of the original cast in it i felt rather disappointed but my opinion has totally changed after seeing it at the cinema. The action scenes where great and the driving was fantastic. After coming out of the cinema I wanted to get in my car and drift top marks.

 3,2,1....GO!!!!

Another fantastic fast and furious film though not as good as the first still has alot to like. None of the origional cast appear until the very end when Vin Diesel appears briefly in the american muscle but none of that matters because the new characters and the drift racing in Tokyo is quite cool and if you liked the others then it is a very entertaining film to watch. Enjoy

Annoying and Boring. 3 is just to much!!

The Fast and the Furious produced lots of petrol induced, exciting car races and chases.
2 Fast 2 Furious copied what had come before it and madefor a less entertaining film and Tokyo Drift decides to copy the formula once more but sadly this time it just isn't worth.
The chases themselfs are below standerd, the 'drift' idea is not an inspiring choice and the actors are simply there to speak the woodern script.
By the time we have a small cameo from an old friend at the end, your to annoyed to care.
Pointless, boring and uninteresting, Tokyo Drift shows us why to much of a good thing can be bad... Very, very bad!
