Each series will have you crying at least once, and you will be gripped from beginning to end, but be careful as each episode ends on a cliffhanger that will make the next one almost impossible to resist! Be prepared to stay up late into the night with this series!

If you have heard of this program but thought it couldn't live up to the hype, think again...it does! So watch it, but beware of the withdrawal symptoms that come when you finally manage to tear yourself away from it so you can sleep!

I have never seen a single episode of 24 but i thought i would give the first season ago when i picked it up cheap. I watched four episodes and gave up pretty predictable and how many times did the man and woman looking for their daughters either drive past the van or the van drive past them with tense music playing. On the bridge when they were pulled over by the police and the van drove past i burst out laughing and asked my self is this for real or a spoof TV series. After all the what a amazing TV series it is i am pleased to say i have not wasted my time watching it.

A great first season of the show, which is as gripping as television gets. The only bad thing i would say about the DVD is the extras. All that is included are a less downbeat alternate ending and a 'preview' of Season 2 which is basically Kiefer Sutherland giving a summary of what happened in this season. This show deserves better.

this series is one of the best EVER. I only started to watch it a few days ago and i couldn't stop. i have finished this one now and season 2 and watching season 3 already. WARNING THIS SERIES WILL CONSUME YOUR LIFE. SO GRAB SOME PROVISIONS SIT BACK AND WATCH THE MOST GRIPPING TV SHOW EVER!!!!!!!!!!!

this season is one of the best and the one that kicked this amazing franchise off, YEAH!!

I bought this season over a year ago and only got around to seeing it in the last few weeks. It is unbelievable. Sutherland is amazing as the troubled and tortured jack bauer, a man just trying to do whats right but is just not able to do it. He seems to get out of impossible situations where all the odds are stacked against him. He goes through every emotion under the sun as his wife and kid are kidnapped and held hostage. He works for the counter terrorist unit and an assasination attempt on a presidential candidate also occurs the same day which he has to try stop. Buy this

I never really watched this programme til recently, I thought I'd buy the first season to see if I liked it, after all it had good reviews. And they were true! This is an amazing addicting TV series. You'll find yourself glued to your television for days, as you'll always want to know what happens next. Amazing. I intend to buy the rest of the Series,and you should too!

I didn't watch 24 when it first started infact I didn't start Season one until series 7 had been on TV, and now I have watched all 7 series before 8 has started. After borrowing season 1 off a colleague at work I had to buy them all. None stop action, better cliff hangers than Lost and I just cant get enough!!!

Great start to the successful tv program that is 24. Is a rollercoaster of thrills, amazing acting, elistha cuthbert !?! what more could you ask for ? Buy it, you wont regret it

Awesome start to an awesome series. Jack Bauer is a legendary TV character and right from Day 1 he was fantastic. The action is great and the storyline is brilliant in this one. It isn't the best season of 24 (season 5 is) but it is a close joint 2nd for me with Season 3. Essential TV!
