From the depths of the ocean they came for the most titanic struggle ever witnessed. Two mythical beasts, defying the laws of nature and threatening all of humanity in a vicious battle to certain death!

80s pop sensation Debbie Gibson stars as maverick marine biologist Emma MacNeil. She witnesses a catastrophic collision with a rapidly melting glacier, unleashing two enormous behemoths trapped in the ice for millions of years locked in terrible, mortal combat!

With the help of a military specialist tasked with destroying these beasts, MacNeil must stop the onslaught of disaster and mayhem. Ships are annihilated, planes fall from the sky, bridges crumble, cities flee for their lives and the world stands on the brink of disaster at the fins and tentacles of the most fearsome monsters on the planet.

The fight of a thousand millennia is about to kick off!

Cool film that doesnt pretend to be a 10 million pound blockbuster but at the same time this film is one of the best b movies out there. Debbie Gibson can act and comes across as the best actress in this film and she looks well hot !!! This is a fun movie which takes you back to all the sci fi movies of the 80s fantastic

 Pathetic Shark versus Rubber Octopus

I can watch some real rubbish but this takes the biscuit. Let me be clear, this film is in no way ironic/funny/exciting and I'm only giving it 1 star because I have to. Everything about it screams low, low budget and there is not one redeeming feature to speak of at all. Any good bits that are in the film you will have already seen in the trailers which considering the film runs for an hour and 20 mins plus does not bode well for the rest of this shockingly bad piece of shark bait. I would like to have thought that the budget was not spent on the cast deliberately so that they could waste it on the real stars i.e. the fish. But oh no the effects are worse than you could expect. Each of the monsters has about 2 (maybe 3) frames of animation and they double that by flipping the film around for different scenes. I could go on and will do if public demand dictates that I do, however I would like to summarise that please do not ever think of watching this film. Not even for a joke. Not even if there is nothing on the tele. Not even if you are forced at gunpoint. It is very, very bad indeed.

 Cheese fest but fun

With the title you can guess what it's about and that its Grade A cheese, the Vintage Chedder of the B movie world. Whilst I sat through it in sheer disbelief, I kinda enjoyed how daft it was - like a massive shark leaping out of the water and catching a plane - an airliner no less - in its jaws. Wow that shark can jump. Its true that the two don't meet till near the end of the film but that aside I did enjoy it. I'd recommend watching it with some wine or beer.

 WOW!

We had a film night with the headliner being this very film! from start to finish it is soo badly made but it is sooo good!! great for a few laughs (shark jumping out of the water and biting an aeroplane) the film is too amazing to give any less than 5 stars! and the price just makes it a bargain! and even better, a free poster :D totally brilliant!!

90 minutes of my life I will never get back!

When I saw the trailer for this film, I thought... this is going to be awesome. I knew it would be in a 'so bad it's good' way, but I have to say I was very disappointed.

The script is ropey with some utterly idiotic plot holes that left me dumbfounded, some if not most of the dialogue is shocking, the acting is pretty terrible across the board, but by far the worst factor in the equation is the over all poor production quality.

The lighting of the interior sets (if you can call them sets) is appalling, maybe you could get away with it in an eighties pop video but not in a modern film.

To say that the CGI is low budget would be an understatement, I've seen better looking effects in episodes of the original series of Star Trek, back when computers took up entire rooms and were used by men in white coats to solve ridiculous maths problems, and not used to aid in the creation of dodgy looking submarines and sorry looking sea creatures of which there were about six shots used over and over and over again.

The editing is awful and I was particularly disheartened by the pathetic attempt to create a CSI like science bit (which by the way made no sense and bore no relevance to the advancement of the plot) that is filled with pointless fades from colour to black and white and flashes back to colour that are about as slick as a sheet of sandpaper. At one point we are introduced to a location by the use of an establishing shot containing a text graphic with the name of the location and then the very next scene we are shown the same shot with another graphic completely unnecessarily as there has been no change in location between scenes.

The colourist on this film must have been wearing a pair of sunglasses whilst working. The shots are all generally over saturated and a lot of the shots are burnt out thus adding greatly to the films overall amateurish quality.

The sound quality is also very poor, there are some scenes where dialogue is very difficult to make out over the ambient background noise of the locations, not that you're missing much.

So to conclude, bad script, bad acting, bad lighting, bad effects, bad editing, bad colour grading, bad sound, bad excecution. I urge you not to waste your time or money with this film it is so bad and not bad in a good way, just plain bad.

I could have forgiven it's flawed conception if only it was well made, but sadly it isn't.
