This film has dated a little but is still downright terrifying in places. It has a great sense of atmospheric menace and opression. Like Poltergeist but with the kiddy bits replaced by unseen violence.
It is a great mix of supernatural and psychological fear (although the ending goes a little barmy).
If you've got the nerve for it, it's a horror film that is a cut above the rest and still packs a punch (literally).
I haven't seen this film in a long time, yet it still haunts me, probably more so as it was based on an alleged true story. It will have you on the edge of your seat, and hiding behind the pillow. The music just adds to the intensity. Definately one for the collection.
I saw a little of this on SKY and turned it off a little while after cause It scared me. The guitar music was really wierd and heavy and its that beat that stuck in my head..I watched the film again later and I really enjoyed it (if you can say that) as the content is a little sick and disturbing at times. I remember older people talking about this when I was younger and wanting to see it then ,just out of curiousity. People get scared at different things but this case IS recorded and on file somewhere so if you like ghost movies please watch..its worth it..everytime I heard the guitar and heavy beat id panic at what was going to happen..really freaky.
