Critters are one of the best little monsters in horror/sci-fi history deadly little fur balls from outer space with sharp teeth looking for flesh to eat, the first critters movie is fantastic, great story and good budget for back in the 80s, the second film Critters 2 is a great sequel, it reunites a couple of the cast members and all hell breaks loose again when they come back to earth, and are being hunted by bounty hunters, critters 3 went a bit down hill and was a low budget cheesy film, but critters 4 is better, this time set in space on a ship, starring Brad dourif, these movies are all together a classic cheesy B movie collection from newline cinema and a must for horror fans!

The first Critters is a five-star ball of fun -an underrated 80s gem-it has a great atmosphere to it. The design of the Critters are great and iv watched this film alot over the years and its still alot of fun everytime.People always said its a Gremlins rip off and thats OK with me becuase i love Gremlins!Oh and Johnny Steele is the man!.Critters 2 is a 3 star film. Not bad,and feels like a proper sequel with main character Brad Brown and town drunk/intergalactic bounty hunter Charlie McFadden returning from the first film and the ending of the first film leads right into this one.Decent effects and the 'Critters ball' blew my mind as a kid. Critters 3 and 4 are 1 star films.Cheap poor straight to video sequels that were filmed back to back.Now im all for cheap straight to video movies but these are just terrible.3 is almost passable but Critters 4 is an unwatchable bore.It even reuses effects shots from the first film!At least Charlie McFadden and Ug appeared in 3 and 4 giving the 4 films some connection. Well worth getting for the price as its probably cheaper than hunting down Critters 1 and 2 separately.

if you remember these films then you will know that the first is the best of the lot .but each of the films is funnny and the boxset is worth the money go on buy it you will not regret it.

If you are a fan of any of the Critter's movies this set is a bargain, all for movies for £5! Can't moan about that at all.

Critters is the best of the series, closely followed by the sequel, the other two are so-so and pretty lousy compared to the first two in the series, although the third has a fun cameo by mini Leonardo DiCaprio which should at least keep you laughing for a good while.
