  Still enjoyable to this day

A combination of 3 shorts which were made during Walt Disney's final years before dying from lung cancer. What's lovable about it is the voice work including Sterling Holloway who worked on a couple of Disney films in the past in the role of the title character. What's amazing is that it constantly breaks the fourth wall and still touches everybody's hearts even to this day.
A must-have for every Disney fan.

I myself remember these three classic winnie the pooh stories, and enjoyed watching them over and over. I bought this collection for my eldest son who is almost 2 years of age he had a few on video, (yes my old collection) which he warn out, he adores these stories and now knows every song. This is a classic and should be in every childs collection.

  Just as charming as ever.

After 2 reviews on how much very young children enjoyed this DVD comes how much a 23 year old enjoys this DVD!

I used to watch this film when I was much younger as actually wore the video tape out I loved it so much. So when I saw it on DVD I had to treat myself, and can proudly say it is just as wonderful as the first time I watched it. As a life long Winnie the Pooh fan its really nice to see the original animated film that stays so much more loyal to the books than the more modern versions.

The drawing is thankfully done as close to the style of the original ilustrations as you will find and I personally think the animations within the storybook make it even more charming.

A wonderful gift for any child, or Winnie the Pooh fan and a very good tribute to A.A. Milne's brilliant books and characters. Although with a few "added extras" that are a little less loyal to the story, it will always come second to the lovely storybook cassette tapes read by Alan Bennett.

You won't be disappointed :)
