I can't rate this film highly enough.
If you haven't seen it then I am immensly jealous cus your in for a monster treat.
Christopher Walken's appearance for me is the single best cameo of all time, it's a gem of a film buy it and enjoy!!!

If you are a fan of Tarantino you'll follow the story if not then you'll get frustrated with this movie. The Cast: Christopher Walken, Dennis Hopper, Gary Oldman, Val Kilmer, Brad Pitt are all fantastic and they only get a small amount of screen time. Christian Slater am just not a fan of this guy it should have been someone else as the main character and Patricia Arquette was ok. Get this movie for the cult status and the brilliant supporting cast.

Facts aside....this is an AMAZING movie that is as good as anything QT ever did, and thats gospel!

I just cannot do this film enough justice with any review i make....this is simply film making at its very very best !! A truely wonderful storyline, powerfully performed by some tremendous actors of our time, a script which is captivating and poetic, a totally original love story, and directed by the one and only Tarantino. This film has everything you could ever want....the only true tragedy would be for you to miss this film....buy it....you will not regret it I promise !!

A truly superb production. One of my favourite films ever and one of the best. This is a really powerful film and it just about has everything. One thing that you have to comment on about this film is the cast, and what a list of amazing actors it has. Christian Slater, Gary Oldman, Dennis Hopper, Christopher Walken, Brad Pitt, Val Kilmer, Chris Penn, Samuel L Jackson, and not forgetting the star of the film for me, Patricia Arquette. She was brilliant in this and very talented i just can't believe she hasn't done many films because she could of been one of the best. Personally i think she is underrated and i don't think people realise how good she could of been after starring in True Romance.

This is a stunning high speed adventure film written by Quentin Tarantino. Christian Slater and Patricia Arquette star in this comedy of terrors as two newly-weds who become involved in a battle of wits with the mob and the police as they travel from detroit to Los Angeles with a suitcase of Cocaine.
This film has so many stars, CHRISTIAN SLATER, PATRICIA ARQUETTE,DENNIS HOPPER,VAL KILMER, GARY OLDMAN, BRAD PITT and the amazing scary performance as a Mob front man CHRISTOPHER WALKEN.
The film is just violent perfection, ending in a blood bath shoot out. But in between the bullets and blood shed is a tender love story between Slater and Arquette. Not forgetting how funny the film is. I can't start to tell you what a cool movie this is and how good it is, you will have to take my word.
Just buy this movie and find out for yourselves what a brilliant modern classic this is.

If you in any way like film then this is for you, Sharp witty dialogue, Larger than life characters, Romance, Violence, Drugs, Elvis, THE GREATEST SOUNDTRACK EVER, and a fantastic sense of what entertainment should be.

If you havn't seen this film before and if you only see one film this year make it this.

This is the sort of film you could watch again immediatly after watching it (and i have several times)

Quite possibly Tony Scott's finest hour 'True Romance' is still very much a Tarantino film. Fuelled by a typically electric screenplay and featuring an astonishing ensemble cast (Christian Slater, Patricia Arquette, Brad Pitt, James Gandolfini, Christopher Walken, Dennis Hopper and Gary Oldman) 'True Romance' never lets up for a second. Full of random bouts of brutal violence (restored for this directors cut), hilarious dialogue and a cast of quite unforgettable characters I adored every minute of this film. The classic scene between Dennis Hopper and Christopher Walken remains one of my favourite scenes to this day. With the typical Tarantino references to Hong Kong cinema, his obvious love of cinema and sly winks at other films in his back-catalogue nobody does Taratinoesque quite like QT himself. Okay, so the extras aren't exactly comprehensive but who cares when you've got a film THIS good. From its opening discussion on the genius of Elvis Presley to its high-octane, blood and bullets finale 'True Romance' is a genius collaboration between two cinematic masters and an experience not to be missed....

I was blown away with this movie. It has an all star cast and has so many great performances. Christopher Walken is on top form as usual and Christian Slater and Patricia Arquett give a good show as the lovers on the run. Highly recommend this movie!!!! Go but it!!!
