Brad Pitt is Louis, lured by Lestat into the immortality of the damned, then tormented by an unalterable fact of vampire life; to survive, he must kill. One lifetime alone offers plenty of opportunities for the savage revelries of the night. Imagine what an eternity can bring...
Hypnotically directed by Neil Jordan, this film offers enough thrills, shocks and fiendish fun to last a lifetime and beyond...

For all of you who think Tom Cruise portrayed Lestat badly... may i dirrect you to Stuart Townsend from Queen of the Damned... enough said.
This film is a joy to behold and considering that it came from 1994 I believe it to be very modern. Having read the book I find it to be a fairly accurate prepresentation. I would recomend it for those who like that.
I'd also advise getting this, because as a special edition... for some reason on play.com it is a pound cheaper than the normal version... that is just how it rolls!
Brilliant!

What can I say a brilliant film with great actors who portray their characters so well. With an all star cast of Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Kirsten Dunst, Antonoio Banderas. Brilliant acting from Brad Pitt and Kirsten Dunst, although I believe Tom cruise was a bad choice for this film I just dont think it is his kind of role. I think Johnny Depp would have been a good choice for the role that Tom Cruise played. But besides all that what a great film with a gripping story that doesnt have a dull moment definate buy!
An all time favourite

This is my favourite film of all time. It is a fantastic movie with stunning performances from Kirsten Dunst and Brad Pitt which are certainly highlights. As far as vampire films go this is definately the one to beat.
