One of Woody Allen's bets movies. An unflinchingly honest portrait of upper middle class New York angst. The Hamptons, sisterly competition, distant mother love. This is Bergman in New York.

I love Allen and Keaton and can never find fault when they pair up but this was truly hard work. I watched waiting for it to grip me with something memorable but struggled to find it !! I would still recommend it to Allen fans to make thier own mind up , and will watch it again to see if i missed something but not for a while i think!
