I Sell The Dead

brilliantly quirky black comedy, full of humour and scares in equal measures!. low budget, but dont let that put you off, it isnt quite in the same league as hot fuzz, but pretty close, and of course, ron pearlman is in it!. snap it up.

It's an interesting idea for a movie, it sounds dark and dramatic just from the synopsis but the film itself is a little bit different from what I expected.
It's written as a dark comedy, it has a lot of moments of dark humour which you'll think are funny but you might not go all the way to laugh out loud. As the film goes on it gets a little insane, it breaks off into a movie with zombies, so what started as a dark comedy goes a little overboard to an all out wannabe laugh fest.
There's a twist at the end but its a little too obvious, you can see it coming with a good half still to go.

Overall: I Sell The Dead is an interesting and strange film, it's obvious there's been a tight budget but it doesn't affect the outcome too much. If the movie had stuck as a dark comedy, or if it had been an over the top comedy from the beginning it would've been better.

This film is great! the story is good and it is full of great ideas. Effects are more than passable and it has a great look and feel. A thoroughly entertaining 90 minutes!

Just finished watching this lovely little film & just had to say It's a smashing film with a wonderfully dark atmosphere, great acting & an enjoyable story (even though you can guess the "twist" at the end easily enough). as already said it does not take itself too seriously & is full of little parts that give you a little extra smile.

One word says it all about this film and that is BORING!!!

This is a great little film! Doesn't take itself too seriously but is full of enough humour and surprises to make it stand out amongst the crowd. The very films that should be hyped never are, this is one of them. Fantastic performances throughout. Still smiling as I remember parts of it the next day. A definite got to have for anyone who appreciates the whole comedy-horror genre. Make more of this Original type of film please!
