Serpico

*Al Pacino is brilliant as Serpico, an easy going Cop that just wants to do an honest job. Serpico makes himself an outcast with his colleagues when he refuses to become involved in certain activities!
*This is an interesting film and considering it was made in 1973 it has aged quite well. Al Pacinos is one of his best and clearly display's why he is held in such high regard. Well worth watching.

al pacino in the role that confirmed him as an A-actor, as a straight cop who's mission is to clean out the corrupt police system. a rather one-man action with great consequences.
very intense story and acting with a very convincing performance of al pacino.

This film is cool, fact. This film with scarface, casino, goodfellas, heat and the godfather are essential. You must see these before you die. The films are perfect they are gritty well paced and well paced. The whole things is brilliantly directed and wonderfully written. This is one of my favourite Pacino films and it stands upto the test of time. Flawless.

Brilliant Movie, had wanted to watch for a long time, and wasn't sure if it would still be relevant. It is. Frank Serpico is a true Hero. Most people like myself enjoy watching the Gangster films like Scarface, The Godfatehr, Goodfellas etc, so it was nice to watch a movie in the same league as those films but showing the other side of the coin. Al Pacino's performance is absoloutley brilliant.
Defo worth watching.
