In the notorious city of Gomorrah, evil warlord Memnon is determined to lay to waste all the nomadic peoples of the desert. Because the few remaining tribes are virtually powerless against him, they decide to hire a skilled assassin, Mathayus, to eliminate Memnon's most prized asset: the sorceress Cassandra, who lies at the root of Memnon's power. Mathayus's plan, however, is to kidnap Cassandra rather than kill her. He knows if he takes her deep into the desert badlands as his hostage, Memnon and his henchman will stop at nothing to rescue her...

This film was made due to the story that was mentioned about 'The Scorpion King' in 'The Mummy'. A definate buy for any fan of the first 2 'Mummy' films.

Pretty good in places, but the acting buy some of the extras are pants.
I only seem to be enjoying this when they are fighting, because in films you are supposed to keep the excitement going, and this stops after they finish fighting.
This is also the sort of film that you watch once, and then again, and ten again and it seems to get worse, so if you buy this, you were warned of the faults.

A tounge in cheek fantasy adventure

The Rock aka Dwayne something or other is Mathayus one of three Arkadian warriors ,a tribe of skilled assasins who are hired by a union made up from all the tribes that the tyrant king has decimated on his path of domination to kill their aggressor ,A good film that all the family can enjoy
