Not As Good As Phoenix Nights, But Close

An excellent programme to watch if you are a fan of Peter Kays laid back style of comedy, this programme takes you on from Phoenix Nights (which I would watch before watching this) with the two doormen with a simple outlook on life, the fitness dvd (power of two) is also a laugh a plenty film which surprisingly really works, excellent fun.

Wasnt sure what to expect, but i knew if it was half as good as Phoenix nights then i would be in for a treat. As it turns out its actually more funny. Very dissapointed they didnt make a 2nd series. A must buy for anyone with a good sense of humour.

For me a big disappointment - the characters Paddy & Max work well in their couple mins slot on Phoenix nights however they are just not strong enough for the 30 min episodes and the storylines are very weak - wait for the re runs on telly - not worth £18

What can be said that hasn't allready been said. Hilarious, Peter Kay continues to storm the UK with this spin-off from Phoenix Nights. As a bonus the fitness DVD and CD soundtrack are worth the extra few quid. I think I've watched it 5 or 6 times so far.
