Terror has surfaced....
Meet the fiercest killer evolution has ever known....

Twenty-four million years ago, Megalodon was a 20 tonne killing machine with a 10 foot gaping bite. When two researchers discover a colossal shark tooth off the Mexican coast, their worst fears surface.

The most menacing beast to ever rule the waters is still alive and mercilessly feeding on anything that crosses its path. Now they must hunt the fierce killer and destroy it... before there is no one left to stop its reign of terror.

 Shark Attack 3: Megalodon

Everyone will undoubtedly view me as a total film snob once I've completed this review of Shark Attack 3 : Megalodon but unfortunatly I feel it to be my duty as to why this DVD really is only good for a coaster.
I very much appreciate the old saying Its so bad its good, but I just don't think Shark Attack 3 can be linked with that phrase. It's simply so bad its bad and thats all that can be said for it.
The effects in the movie are dreadful and are going to have you laughing for a while but eventually you'll simply be wishing they would just bugger off. They jar any attempt at acting (snigger) or plot (titter) that the film trys to offer up and director David Worth's contribution is totally unacceptable. Fans of bad B movies would be better sticking with the passable first entry into this series or better yet Renny Harlin's Deep Blue sea, because this beast really lurks in the depths of movie dredge.
The DVD promises a trailer but actually doesn't have one, still can't imagine wer'e missing much there anyway...

 Stunning cinematography

It's a real shame this didn't get nominated for an Oscar, a real great plot with twists throughout, and with such a high standard of acting i'm shocked this film didn't do better. The drama and comedy is mixed brilliantly, truely one of the funniest films i have ever seen. A must buy for the price!

Come on you mother. Come to papa!

Genius.

It would be far too easy to dismiss this as the crud it clearly is.

If you're looking for so-bad-it's-good filmaking, look no further! This is SO rubbish and ridiculous it demands not to be taken seriously from the outset. And because of that, this is highly enjoyable.

Sooo realistic...even kept me out of the bath for months!

When I bought this in my DVD player I expected a cheap thrill. But I very, very wrong. From the moment the film begins, you feel immersed in the action, and can't help but sit on the edge of the sofa in terror at the giant shark. The shark is HUGE and we have to be sooo grateful that the shark doesn't exist in real life or we'd be in such trouble! Just seeing this movie kept me away from even going in the bath I was so scared - the effects really do need to be a little less reaslistic if people are going to watch it and not develop a phobia like me. Still...wow...what a firm. How exciting!

 genius, shear genius
