The final eleven episodes of the first series (1.13 - 1.23) about to be released, are once again set on 'the strip' and burrow into the dark world of crime and murder that isn't ever what it first seems. This fast paced rock n' roll series takes a fresh angle on murder mystery drama with its Hollywood production values and astonishing camera shots. The viewer is treated to a bullet-path ride through the crime, the crime scene and the cadaver as the dynamic team comb, meticulously through the evidence. A serial bomber, skeletons in the desert, a male stripper, mob hits and call girls are all in a days work for Grissom and the team whose individual scientific skills coupled with a sixth sense attempt to complete the crime jigsaw that is one of many pieces.

CSI follows Gil Grissom and his team of forensic investigators as they work the night shift in Las Vegas.
The second part of the season 1 has many great episodes including Boom, Gentle Gentle and the fantastic and chilling season finale, The Strip Strangler.
Minimal extras at its best again here but not to worry, the quality of the episodes does carry this boxset. All said, this is a fantastic end to the first season of CSI. A great buy.
