Woody Harrelson has made a come back lately with so many funny roles and cameos like in 2012 and especially the awesome Zombieland! Defendor is his latest in the way of comedic and crazy roles where he plays a simple mentally challenged man who dresses up as the superhero Defendor and goes out fighting crime with his arsenal of home made weapons like marbles and bees!! The movie is very funny and has a great cast, dont go into it thinking its a pure superhero comedy like kickass as its not, the film does have a very serious and innocent side to it also in which he thinks what hes doing is for a personal purpose! Great and original and fun, not action packed or anything but has something fresh and original to offer, Woody Harrelson is great so certainly worth a watch.

Defendor offers gentle and laugh out loud comedy, with touching drama, detective work, some wince worthy street scraps and an couple of great twists.
The black and white superhero world of good and bad is challenged by this hugely proud, loyal and well meaning Arthur Poppinton mock super hero simpleton, who blunders between attempting to beat up the bad and sometimes the indifferent, while struggling to justify his endevours to real forces of law and order. A little gem which should be compulsory viewing for anyone considering doning a uniform and patrolling the Underground.

firstly, this movie is not just a kick-ass rip off. it has its own agenda and story which has a more serious feel to it. while there are a few very funny bits, there are also some heart warming scenes. all in all this movie was good but it lacked the overall polish of a truly great film. see it!

Its a film i found just a little bit too silly to be serious about but at the same time i love woody harrison but the story is just so stupid
