I'm not ashamed to say that this is my all-time favourite film. An old-fashioned, romantic film that doesn't try to be anything more and is simply perfect in every way. It's an intresting take on an old idea, with believable characters, likeable characters and a on-screen chemistry that is some of the best i've ever heard. Overall, watch this film and enioy.

My partner had been going on about it for a while and i was intrigued so i decided to buy it.
Watched it lastnight and really enjoyed it.
Was very impressed with the story line but wasn't impressed with James Spaders role as a sleezy executive but other than that a fine performance.
Some parts made me laugh.
Overall a good romantic comedy that says time has no bounds love can be found anywhere and at anytime.

Jonathan Window and Kim Kattral star in what is considered one of the best romantic comedies in the last 2 decades.

The movie speaks to many guys who have wanted to find the girl of their dreams and Window gets that and more than he imagined when a Mannequin he made comes to life in a shop window that he works for.

The romantic side of the movie is very sweet and tender, the humour is great with an actor who looks supsiciously familiar to another 80's movie franchise, and the fantasy is just great and magical.

And to end it all; you get Starship performing the theme of the movie 'nothing's gonna stop us'.

So, like a romantic comedy with a little bit of fantasy to it? Then this is for you.

Mannequin is a fresh feel good romantic comedy which brings together Andrew Mc Carthy (Jonathan) with his boyish
looks and a young Kim Cattrall (sex and the City) in a well matched romantic tale of a mannequin(Cattrall) that comes to life in a department store where Jonathan window dresses to compete with a neighbouring store whose staff would do anything to sabotage Jonathan's efforts...among these is a young James Spader acting as the infamous baddie and a spy....Needless to say there are much mischief that both parties get into in this delightful tale enhanced by a colourful character and supporting actor who almost steals the show by the name of Hollywood...look out for him (I think) and a fabulous musical track of the time....simplistic but very effective not to many will dislike mannequinn ...it comes highly recommended...

I love this film. It's a completely random storyline but it works. It's like a grown-up version of thinking your toys come alive when you're not looking! Includes Kim Cattrall way before Sex and the City and has a brilliant song at the end!!!
