Hammer Films showed that they could still deliver the goods with this - in places - very creepy series. Ask people of a certain age and they will recall certain moments that have stuck in their minds. The whole concept got watered down in the series that followed on from this: 'The Hammer House of Mystery and Suspense', but the episodes in this set are still enjoyable viewing.

hammer has to be the classic off horror films,i am in my thirties now,yet i can still remember being scared by the hammer masters
