Terminator 1
The Terminator movie is just one of those movies that theres not really any point picking faults in.
Quite simply because it is a All Time SciFi Action Classic.
Its got Brilliant Story, Spot on performances from Arnie, Michael Bien and Lind Hamilton.
The direction is assured and shows glimpses of what James Cameron would do in the future.
Some of the effects look a touch dated, but nothing to tragic.
Defo worth watching this and following it up with the even better Part 2, the below par Part 3 and the new Salvation Movie. 5 STARS.
Terminator 2
One of the Best Sequels of all time, much better than the Classic Original, which really is saying something.
The reason the movie is so special is due to a few factors, the foremost one being the amazing Special Effects, using the Technology to Morph Humans and Objects.
It really revolutionized everything.
Another reason is that they really worked on the story, otherwise anyone can make a movie with Action and SFX. The story really takes you on an Intriguing, Intense and very Adventurous journey, with hardly any pointless moments.
The ACTION Sequences are Mind Blowing even in 2010, in 1991 when I watched this at the Cinema, they literally made my jaw Drop.
The Motorbike and Truck chase has in my opinion not been bettered since, the One Hand Shotgun reload that Arnie does during the sequence, makes you wanna break into applause, it really is that cool. The Shoot Out at the end is brilliantly choreographed.
The Music also plays a big part in the movie and adds a very real sense of menace, and I'm not just referring to the Iconic Theme Tune.
Coming to the performances, everyone is Perfectly Cast. Arnie is not the best actor in the world, but this is his best performance.
Linda Hamilton is just pure Badness, her attitude, her acting, her body, the works, she is a total revelation compared to the first movie.
Edward Furlong is perfectly cast as the awkward but in the know Teen. Robert Patrick is terrifying real as the all Morphing emotionless machine.
But I think the person who deserves the most credit is Director James Cameron, who has tried to push the boundaries of technology with every film he has made.
He is not the sort of director that waits for the technology, he actually goes out and invents it.
Terminator 2 is clearly the best movie in the Terminator Quadrilogy, and remains in my Top 5 Action Movies of All time. 5 STARS
Terminator 3
Didnt like this movie when I saw it at the cinema, just didn't have the Intimate Moments that the first 2 movies had. The movie is not really bad, if you watch the trailer for it, it looks a blast, its just that its nowhere near as good as the first 2, in terms of Action, Imagination or Story.
The direction is OK, the Action set pieces seemed to be patched together and feel that they could belong to any Action movie. The acting is ok, everyone does their bit. For me it was just general disappointment.

Terminator 4 - Salvation
This new Movie about the Terminator world brings the story Full Circle .
The Apocalyptic setting, was well designed, and reminded me a little of Mad Max and the landscape of The Book of Eli
The highlight of the movie for me though was the Stunning Action Sequences, which were blended in with Exquisite Special Effects.
Especially loved the Machine Motorbikes. Anyways, a good watch, especially for Terminator fans
I guess the best way to enjoy this film is to set realistic expectations, About time we understand that any Terminator movie without James Cameron, and now without Arnie, is never gonna be as good as the First 2 movies. Except it and enjoy Terminator Salvation for what it is. 3 STARS
