Two great films and one absolute garbage, but fantastic value for a fiver

The 1st film catapulted Eddie Murphy to stardom showing his genius wit and OTT brand of humour. The 2nd one amped up the action and compromised on the plot but remained a greatly entertaining film. The 3rd one... well, the less said the better. File it under 'what was Eddie thinking?' along with The Haunted Mansion, Daddy Day Care and Norbit.

Thr first two movies are brilliant but are seriously let down by the third one, however this is a great box set for a great price.

I brought this 2 years ago and i love it . I grown up watch Beverlly hills cop they are great films a must for any 80's fan Buy it !

Finally it was out of stock for so long. I've finally ordered my own copy. So happy:). Can't wait to watch this. One of my favourite movies ever!

This trilogy follows the usual pattern in that the first is good fun and reminds us of a time when Eddie Murphy films weren't all rubbish, the second is still worth seeing although a notch down from the original, and the less said about the third the better - it feels like one of Eddie's recent phoned-in kiddie comedies, only full of swearing.

Honestly, I used to watch these when I was little and loved them.
I watch them now as a teenager, and love them.
You can't hate these films, it is truly impossible, although I think it got worse as it went along, but still, you have to love it.
Eddie Murphy's finest work.

Unlike some of the other reviews, i beleive that number 3 is good fun to watch and is great in its own way. Number 1 and 2 have a completly other feel but 3 still boasts great scenes which are bound to make you laugh. If you like Eddie Murphy, these are the films that made him. Anyone who disagrees with that is not a Murphy fan. I garantee you will like this boxset if you like his comedy.

for what you get for the price is really good value.
the first film is eddie murphy at his best fast paced and action packed.
the second is still good but just alittle less paced murphy still gets all the gags and has sone great lines.
the 3rd film was very disappointing it just lacked everything the first 2 had but this box set is still worthy of being in anybodys collection.

buy this, it is such a good trilogy and very action packed as well as some comedy bits which makes it worth watching and buying!!
