The Time Traveler's Wife is based on the best-selling book about a love that transcends time. Clare (Rachel McAdams) has been in love with Henry (Eric Bana) her entire life. She believes they are destined to be together, even though she never knows when they will be separated.

Henry is a time traveler - cursed with a rare genetic anomaly that causes him to live his life on a shifting timeline, skipping back and forth through his lifespan with no control. Despite the fact that Henry's travels force them apart with no warning, Clare desperately tries to build a life with her one true love.

Fantastic romantic film, i recommend this to anyone and everyone, even the men, however i think women will benefit more from this film, seeing as its romantic all the way through, its a classic love story, it had me and my mum in tears in parts, it touches the hearts of the audience and stays with you forever, the chemistry between the lead actors, Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana is suberb, acting is suberb, overall film SUBERB, if you havent already, preorder it on dvd *****

I really did not want to like this film, I really wanted to growl all the way through. Once this film started however you are instantly drawn into it. The Time travel idea is fantastic and the story is so well written it engrosses you immediately. The story does have a romantic twist but it is never sugared or laboured. There is some great humour in the film as well. The ideas around the time travel is what will apeal most to the guys watching the film, it is very twilight zone in it's feel and approach.

This film will be an excellent valentine present for your lady and one that you can watch with her and score brownie points for doing so.

A refreshing film that will entertain.

Saw the film twice at the cinema and cannot wait for it to be released on dvd. Amazing film, Mcadams and Bana are the perfect Claire and Henry! The book is better but not by much. I reccommend you do both - read the novel and watch the film. Both made me cry. The film is phenominal, don't miss out :)

Romance with a nice a dose of Sci-Fi thrown into the mix.

I'm use to seeing Eric Bana star in action films such as "Troy" and "The Hulk" yet he still holds the screen very well in The Time Traveler's Wife which shows he is a good actor. Rachel McAdams is the wife to Eric Bana who has no control over where or when he is going to time travel. The story is very gripping and at times complex. I did find it a bit slow at times and wanted a more happy ending but I was a bit tired and feeling a bit blue when I was watched it. I'm a big sci-fi fan so having the time travelling mixed into a serious romantic film made it more enjoyable for me and just maybe his daughter could change the outcome if there was a sequel to be made. Anyway The Time Traveler's Wife is a romantic film in which both men and women will enjoy.
