Sugar Rush: Series 1 & 2

Such a fabulous programme! so exciting to watch the adventures of sugar and how kim falls for her each time, aswell as the complete madness of her family's personal lives. The storyline keeps you enthralled and the acting is brilliant and believable. Lenora and Olivia are amazing actresses so it was fantastic to see them acting together. Well worth a watch!!

A fabulous series, based on a fabulous book, you don't have to be gay or even a teenager to be able to relate to the issues raised throughout the two series. The messages about love, growing up, relationships and confusion have universal potency, and are portrayed particularly well here.
And if you do happen to be young and queer then you actually have to watch this, it's been hailed the English equivilent of the L Word for a reason!
The only tiny annoying point is that the soundtrack on the DVD isn't half as great as the iconic soundtrack on the series itself, being different in pretty much all cases, but c'est la vie.
The two series in one boxed set is (slightly) better value for money, but is well worth it! Season 2 is just as funny, just as touching, and just as brilliant as Season 1.

I was brought this twin pack of dvd's as i caught the first episode on TV but managed to miss the rest! Every episode ended on a cliff hanger, so luckily i could watch one after another and i know i havnt got much of a life but i watch both series 1 and 2 in the same night as i found it sooo addictive and very very funny at times. :)
