This film is absolutely brilliant!!!! Meryl Streep is amazing as miranda she should have won the oscar for this role!!! Anne Hathaway also gives a brilliant performance!!! Its well worth a watch and gives a glimpse into this type of world!!

Really enjoyed this, Meryl Streep was very good and very Deserving of her Oscar Nom for it. Surpried at how much i enjoyed it. Testostorone levels have become dangerousley low, Gonna go and watch Rambo, Terminator and Die Hard back to back now. lol

When I first heard of this film, I assumed "Chick Flick". I was right. Not only is it a chick flick, it it the most imaginative, witty and down right awsome chick flick I have ever seen. This is the kind of film where you kick the boys out, grab ice cream and chocolate and you sit in and watch a film that rocks.
I tried watching this with a fella and after 20 minutes of him whining about being bored I had to turn it off. I watched it with some mates not long after and laughed till I felt sick. It's full of humour that the boys just don't get and is the best girls film since Bridget Jones.
Girls: Watch it
Boys: Either stop complaining or go put the football on in another room!

This film wasn't quite what I was expecting.
I thought it was going to be constant laughs. Just a simple comedy.
But, it was alot more serious than that. And I don't mean in a bad way!
There was still plenty of laughs, but at the heart of it is a really well written story.

I can't compare to the book because I haven't read it yet, but I really enjoyed this film.
Anne Hatherway and Meryl Streep do a fantastic job.
A really great suporting cast too!

This DVD is packed with extras, so really good featurettes.
I definatly recommend this DVD!

A fabulous movie. I'd definately recommend it to anyone with an interest in the fashion industry (one of the main reasons I bought this movie) or in fact anyone who's a fan of stylish, witty and intelligent comedies. Great acting from Meryl Streep and credit to Anne Hathaway who does this film so much justice as the beautiful and smart Runway newcomer Andy Saks. This certainly earns it's place as one of my favourite films.

i must say i was a bit dubious about purchasing this film, but i was extremely impressed when watching it. It held my attention and i really was captivated by the story. has a good few laughs in it and is a true fun film.
Was much better than i thought, a must see if you are uncertain. excellent buy for the price!

Great acting from Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt as always. Extremley humerous and believeable film that can be watched many times over and still be funny. Definatley worth buying.

Just brought this as i thought it was a bargin at a fiver. Was actually quite suprised as i thought it was the usaual. Well two great actresses in it Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway. Played there parts well. And there is a good storyline. Great click flick would recommend at such a low price!

As a man, I had no interest in this film upon its release. However my girlfriend bought it, and I have to admit, I liked it. The film draws you in and Meryl plays the ruthless boss convinceingly and to perfection. Don't sterotype this film as just another chick flick as you may be plesantly suprised...
