An off-beat comedy set in a hospital, Green Wing throws in a bit of soap opera and a dose of the sketch-show to create something unique and absolutely hilarious! Created by the team behind Smack the Pony, the series features some of the finest comedy cats to adorn our screens in quite some time.

Be prepared for one of the most surreal journeys you're ever likely to take as you dive into the anarchic world of Green Wing Hospital!

If you're reading this review the chances are you already fully appreciate the complete and utter stupidity every scene brings. And yet, the hilarity it adds too. It IS a programme you MUST see at the very beginning to fully appreciate the characters but even if you can't follow the simple love story, appreciate the manic, frantic pace the show places upon itself. It is a fantastic modern day great rivalled only by Phoeninx Nights. I'm still laughing. And if you NEED proof that this is funny, All I'll say is Series 2 Episode 5

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars Sitcom at its best

From the makers of Smack The Phony. This sitcom has a basic soap opera story line too follow and in betvine sketch like scenes. This show had 8 writers so each scene is hilarious.
Green Wing won the first BAFTA Pioneer Audience Award in 2005.
