- Stephen Sommers: Universal's Original Monsters - Frankenstein
Frankenstein: Boris Karloff stars as the screen's most memorable monster in what many consider to be the greatest horror film ever made. Director James Whale's adaptation of the Mary Shelley novel blended with Karloff's compassionate portrayal of a creature groping for identity make it a classic, to be watched time and time again!
Bride Of Frankenstein: One of the most popular horror classics of all time and an acclaimed sequel to the original Frankenstein. Boris Karloff reprises his role as the screen's most misunderstood monster who now longs for a mate of his own.

The original is a fantastic film but what is truly incredible is the sequel which I argue is better than the original! Both are true classics and offer film studies students and horror fans something better than the generic hack and slash genre which plagues our screens.
Fantastic boxset which I brought over two years ago and now at this price is literally a steal! PLEASE BUY THIS!
Karloff is king

Frankenstein and bride of frankenstein are two of the best offerings made by universal in the 30's. Frankenstein with its iconic monster and makeup by jack pierce was a revelation at the time. Karloff will forever be remembered as the monster. Frankenstein is a classic, from colin clives spot on doctor slowly going mad to karloffs lumbering frankenstein, this boxset contains one of a rare breed, a sequel which is better than the original. If you regard yourself as a horror entusiast you must own this set.
Simply fantastic
