This film is a little dated but, never the less is still a great moive. Richard burton is as always on top form just like in equus. If you fancy seeing a feast for your eyes then pay "HOMAGE TO RICHARD BURTON" and get yourself a copy of this. You will not be disappointed.

In the latter part of his career, Richard Burton appeared in dismal movies, and made them seem better than they otherwise would. This I feel to be partly true of this. It is, in itself not a bad effort, But Burtons Voice and presence takes it to another level. His look can indeed make you feel like you have turned to stone.
good film but....

This is a good film with great performances, as said before the voice over by Richard Burton is very chilling especially the last words said as the end credits roll. Its just such a pity Burton is not in the film more.
