I used to love this show when I was a kid ( even though I wasn't really allowed to watch it .... I was able to twist my mum's arm, from time to time, when my dad was working on the Late Shift !! .... ) It's a Horror anthology series based around Creepy Paintings hanging in an art gallery, each with a tale to tell - which was made at the end of the '60's / early '70's .... by Rod Serling ( creator of 'The Twilight Zone' ) Some of the stories hold up very well, even today and some others .... maybe not so !! .... But anyway it's still a really cool show, I guess that I'll always like it, because it's a childhood thing for me .... if you know what I mean ? .... Well of course there are plenty of Guest stars sprinkled throughout each story, such as - Vincent Price, John Carradine, John Astin, Carl Reiner, Patty Duke, Roddy MacDowall, Joan Crawford and so on and it's a creepy way to sometimes end the night !! ....
