The original Bionic Woman has evolved into an iconic piece of sci-fi for generations to come. In truth, the series does not need to rely upon all of the special effects and hi-tech gadgets of today's 21st century TV - its story lines, sense of humour, strong characters and Ms Wagner's touch for being a superwoman with a heart and sense of justice, simply makes this series last the test of time. Wagner brings us a warmth and sense of real enjoyment in her adventures as well as being one of the most beautiful women of the 1970s ever to grace our TV screens across the world.

After my partner made me sit through four episodes of the truly appalling "new" Bionic Woman I was yearning to see something "Bionic". My partner had no idea who Lindsay Wagner was so I treated him and myself to this boxset. The quality of the first two seasons is amazing. The episodes are well written, well acted and feature Jamie Sommers actually doing Bionic things!!! The series are 70's so don't expect too hi-tech effects, but for entertainment this quality of TV can't be beaten. Hang your head in shame Michelle Ryan...
