this is one of the best futuristic movies EVER. i first watched it when it came out in video in 90 and i have enjoyed it ever since. violent, with a feelgood ending brilliant and rutger at his best

I was surprised never to have heard or seen this film on tv before as ive seen quite a few. Good cast and not to long or dragged out storyline, very good gladiator type bloody film with what i think is quite realistic hand to hand fighting. Makes a nice change to todays computer generated unrealistic effects, if you liked the 80s big action films you will love this.
