We all know what happened on that day in September 2001. The world is a different day since. But what many don't know is the story of two of the survivors of the world trade center. Call it luck, call it fate. But these two guys managed to survive after the towers came down around them ! This movie shows what a good actor Cage can be in the right movie. After the shoddy Ghost Rider and the terrible Next, I suggest you watch this, just to put your faith back in the actor. This is a very moving and well made movie, that balances the story of the survivors and the family equaly. This is a good movie that never falls into the dreaded realms of soap oparah, but the film no matter how worthy never gripps the way it should, so you come away entertained but slightly underwhelmed. This is still a good companion to the Far superior United 93.
World Trade Center may have it's faults, but is still worth watching!
very touching

I watched this film yesterday (Sunday) and it was excellent!! Stunning performance from Nic Cage as John Mcloughlin, one of the rescued policemen.
Both John and Will were advisors on the film and it shows, this is as realistic as it gets, you really get into the movie through the eyes of the characters.
The second disc contains all the extras and this shows the usual cast and crew but goes much further, many of the real personel from the rescue were used in and around the making of this film, the scenes where John and Will are trapped are especially good with it being as real as possible with scale etc.
Yet again another brillant film from Oliver Stone and i enjoyed it immensely!!
Verdict.- Worth buying for the extras alone- Highly recommended!!
