 Just Enough Fun

The most enjoyable parts of this film are when you get what's on the tin, lots of peopple screaming as they get attacked by a variety of snakes. When it tries to be a more conventional disaster movie it starts to drag, and the ending is as dull as the beginning. But at least there's thirty minutes of joy as various smarmy characters get what's coming to them.

 Good & Worth The Watch

Ok.. first things first, if you didnt read or hear the hype about this movie you must have been in a daydream for months it was huge....for 1 reason. Samuel L. Jackson.... I feel most of these reviews are basing this on a Blockbuster scale, which is why its getting 1 to 3 stars, this is a B movie meaning it has a small budget and unheard of actors/actresses (apart from the obvious) you can see its small budget from the CGI etc, if your just looking for a movie to chill out infront of its worth the buy or if you want to see Jackson in his Shaft/Pulp Fiction attitude.

 Average at best.

Its one of those films where you either hate it or love it. I watched this at the cinema at it was quite good because its different from many other films. Combines action with light horror with quite a few parts making you jump. Worth a watch for £4 because you might like it.

PURE B MOVIE CHEESE, BUT ITS GOOD FUN

The first thing you need to remember about this film is the fact that it is a Hollywood B Movie mascarading as a main stream film.
Yes the plot is paper thin, Yes the concept of killer snakes killing everyone on a plane is a bit daft but that is what makes this film a guilty pleasure.
Samuel L Jackson plays his usual king of cool role and really does take this role with a tongue in cheek style, The special effects are funny the way they give the snakes faces and lots more teeth is laughable but you cant help but like this B Movie fun.
I really enjoyed this film it is simple, funny B Movie cheese but thats what is good about it, Its not meant to be taken seriously it is meant to be a cheesy film that is a simple pop on and tune out and just laugh along at the snakes eating and attacking everyone in as many funny ways as possible.
Well worth watching in my opinion this is one of those films you either like or loath and you can tell this by all the mixed reviews but give it a go and decide for yourself its worth it

 I genuinely liked it

It's knowingly goofy, a bit over-the-top (ok, that didn't need pointing out), and doesn't outstay its welcome - if anything, it should've been longer. My one complaint is that the re-shoots and overdubs to take it from a PG-13 to an R are jarringly obvious and detract from the fun; it should've been left as a PG-13.
