You people who didn't like this sound like you've never seen it before. What were you expecting exactly??? If you like crude, funny and camp then this is for you..I loved this when it was on tv hence me buying the box set now. Surely it's for die hard fans of Kathy Burke and James Dreyfuss...many hours of hilarity!
This box set was so worth every penny, It has not dated from when I watched it on TV, why Kathy Burke went behind the camera as opposed to in front of it I'll never work it out, she and James have such a rapport and a gift working on this program, and if you watch their faces carefully you can see they are about to laugh in places and look like they really enjoy what they do, I would have loved this program to have continued a little longer. Such a shame they never. I cannot fault it. Millennium on disc 2 is my favorite. Hilarious!
what can I say this is a great british classic. Full of laughs, I could watch this over and over again and would still laugh. Pure GOLD
Have to disagree with the last reviewer. This series is just so funny and Dreyfus has never been funnier. He was wasted in the very dire and unfunny Thin Blue Line (and I love Ben Elton as a writer).
Kathy Burke is as ever brilliant and whether she is doing comedy or drama she excels. At this bargain price it's a steal. Buy it and give yourself a laugh.
Terrible show and really not funny in the least which is a shame as I like James Dreyfuss when he was in the thin blue line but this is just poor
