After reading this at school, then actually watching the film, it was brilliant, a film that once you start watching you have to watch it all the way, i never thought i would like it so much

When i was in year 11, i had to read the book and shortly after finishing the book i had to watch the film. The film really captured the book and i would highly recomend the book and film to anyone.

I thought I would watch this after reading the book at college and it is a excellent adaptation of the book.
I was impressed with Gary Sinise's performance and John Malkovich's performance speaks for itself.
Recommend buying it

Great movie, great performances. I think everybody has seen this and if you haven't you should buy this now.
HOWEVER the movie was directed by Lewis Milestone, not Gary Sinise (as mentioned in the description).

Brilliant film that IS directed by Gary Sinise despite comments below. Lewis Milestone directed the original, 1939 version

After studying the book for my English GCSE I loved Of Mice and Men to bits (I actually read the book in school about 12 times). When we watched the film in class I was absolutely taken away by the film. It just makes it much more easier to understand the book. Gladly to say I passed my GCSE with flying colours! To this day Of Mice and Men is still one of my favourite books/films.
