Dead Set

This is a must buy for any horror fan, its an excellent zombie story equal to anything before it like dawn of the dead ect, it has an amazing cast who are all brilliant, Jaime Winstone is a great and sexy lead actress, for a u.k based horror series its amazing, one of the best zombie stories ever made, full of gore and bloody violence and at the same time has its really funny moments, if you have not seen this then buy it now you wont be disapointed.

Charlie Brooker, a known comedic writer turns his hand to horror with this brilliant TV show. Imagine a zombie apocolypse mixed with the Big Brother House. Brooker takes the insanity out of the house and puts it into the real world. This fast paced TV series will have your heart pounding, you'll be sweating, feeling uncomfortable and screaming. Shot in the style of 28 Days Later the show has a gritty and all too real feeling, each episode is a non stop thriller with no dull moments. Brilliant acting from the entire cast, the characters all have their depths and feel like real people. Brooker's writing is at it's finest, the dialogue feels genuine and has all the things you'd see in a top Hollywood zombie movie.... oh and it also includes some of Brooker's jokes which'll make sure to have you laughing. Overall, this show is FANTASTIC! Brilliant from start to finish, nothing I would change about it. Heart pounding and exciting from the get go, MUST SEE

I had heard rave reviews of this but as not a huge fan of Big Brother i wasn't that keen but so glad i watched it.
As a massive fan of zombie films and series i was highley surprised by this,it starts off as a episode of big bro but turns into a outbreak thriller,it is extremly shocking,brutel and scary but has a superb storyline and top notch acting plus it is very funny in places especially the actor who played the producer who reminds me of Nick Frost to look at,he was making me laugh lots of times.
As a avid walking dead fan this is not as stunning or as gripping as that or some zombie films(dawn of the dead,28 days later etc)but still a piece of tv genius and will watch again soon,did i also mention a zombiefied davina mccall.
Highley recommended to zombie fans and big brother fans.

Great film, brilliantly directed by Charlie Brooker. The storyline is original featuring reality t.v "stars" and presenters becoming zombies (not much difference!). There a some very funny moments in there.

I'm a massive Brooker fan (who wrote, not directed as in description) so was excited to see this, and his influences come though nicely in the production, even if it is a bit different from his usual output.
Not quite as revolutionary as I'd hoped but overall a very enjoyable (and very gory) zombie romp, good acting to go with the script, a tad too long though, but I guess it wasn't really meant for a single sitting.
